CAMPING
Saturday
is a best day for people to stay at house. Just a day is good for sleeping or
just take a rest or maybe watch television. In another condition, my school
held a camping for 7 grade who would finish their task of pramuka (is kind of organization in raising self-confidence,
cooperation, disciplines etc). On that day I and my friends camped in a small
forest, middle of city. that was so weird, small forest just like a garden with
many trees around the area.
Saturday
evening, only I and Rita sat in the tent, in the small forest who i thought so crowded
but not any longer after 10 pm, the road was quiet from motors, cars and of course
walker. The tents was also tranquile because some students gathered in the
field near our tents to attend the ceremony and me too, I would gathered after
I was ready with my goods.
“Na” called Rita, “Ina, are you really dare to come?” asked
Rita to me when I took my flashlight while stood up behind her
“I...” I thought for a sec, see the sides of us, and all of them
were darkness
“I want to join, may I?”
“oh ok, you may. Noproblem, I’m fine” I answered to make her
happier
“ok, I will change my clothes” Rita left , prepared her bag
and jacket to walk in this mission for me because there was a person to guide
the tent and be responsible to protect the belongings.
Yes or
no, liked or disliked, I would in this tent till night. Strange voices would
come and I would hear them, mostly I was alone. I walked trembly when I met a
black shadow front of me.
“Ta” I called her, Rita who stood up here
“I won’t come, but You have to” I was afraid to ask the
reason why, I just nodded and kept silent. “be careful” asked Rita together
with my senior, Indah was ready to blow her whistle.
“is
this complete? So there is anybody in the tent, right?” Desi gave ultimatum and
surely she always count her army. My friends were very unique, they brought
their special things and trusted they would bring luck way.
“ready??” Herlin took the stick of bamboo to line us to be
neat also it used to gave symbol of the movement. Also each people had to wear
their handkerchief to close their eyes when walked on the road.
When we were in the road, some of the students who stoped
their songs began quite like students got terrible yell from an anger teacher. They
were quite but had to stayed like that, stood up.
“haaaaaa, where will you go, just follow me” suddenly that
weird voice whispered me “lets follow me, just stay with me and your life will
be better...what you want I will give you some dolls and something like that”
how lucky I was, I knew who was she. She was Indahs friend, wasn’t she?
“brother, your exhaled breath isn’t fragrant, have you brushed
your teeth?” this sound was from male line, so I and my friend laughted him.
“NO...NO...NO.. DON’T ME” Desi yelled and suddenly the
atmosphere became funny, I heared that all of my friends laughted and more
louder. Our liner scattered all over. We opened our handkerchief together, I saw those eyes were
sleepy and tired.
“the last mission is ‘some children like me, and mostly the
girls. I always took by those children, and they also take some clothes to dress
up. Who am I?’” Desi read the piece of paper, and we grabbed to sought where
the doll is.
“sister, is it really a doll?” asked Desi to the seniors who
became our committee. But they would not answer yet. They just asked us to kept
searching.
15 minutes later, we couldn’t find the thing so the committee asked to go back to the tent. The ambience was not good. Some students cried, and the other were angry maybe because this time was midnight and time for sleeping. I thought I and my friends got funny trip because of these experiences included we fell down on the ground cause we couldn’t see anything, found our senior made a joke to become ghost, and answered the last mission although we didn’t surely with our answer.
